I was looking through the forums and saw Amazon sells one of these units, but there wasn't much in the way of reviews. I've had mine since early 2008 on a FLHTC and really, really like it. "Back in the day" it was cheaper than the current model, but pretty much same thing. Difference between then and now... much more tech support and some neat additions to the program.
Tired of having to go to a dealer to make any changes to your bike's performance? This unit will allow you to adjust your fuel/ air ratio to run at the optimum mixture, and will also allow you to set other parameters in place like temperature alarm, idle, timing, etc if you want to play with the program. It has base maps for a ton of different set-ups (engine size, cam, pipes, etc) that you can load to get the system very close, and then the part that's very sweet, the Autotune will get your bike that much closer to perfect operating condition.
Be aware, you put this on before your warranty is up, there's a chance your dealer will deny any claims involving your motor. Suggest talking with the Service Manager at your dealer, a lot are aware of T-Max, but the problem may come from the bike builder who the dealer has to notify of vehicle repairs under warranty. It's like anything else; you "play" with OEM stuff on any vehicle that's under warranty... it could come back and bite you.
I carry a netbook with me and the program on it in case I need/ want to fine tune it. I had one O2 sensor that went bad; I replaced it with a new one from Zippers and it runs great. May not be for everyone because of the warranty thing, but the ability to adjust different parameters in your bike's performance is a nice thing to have if you want to. One thing I discovered is that the tech support, while good before, has even gotten better! You can send them a map from the computer you utilize to interact with the ECM, they can look at what the bike's doing in relationship to the map, and help you adapt it from there. That's way cool.
I am just a satisfied customer who wanted to pass along what I know about T-Max. I put on some pipes and new hi flow air filter, quite satisfied.
Will it give you a stock bike that can turn 7's at the track... NO!
Will it give you a stock bike that runs better and can get better gas mileage... Yes!

Five years ago, when I bought a similar model Ge Profile, it was a top-rated refrigerator with glowing buyer goods reviews. Let this be a part to those who trust online reviews even from supposedly dependable sources.
On the whole, it's not the worst appliance I've ever owned but there's enough wrong with it to earn only one star from me.
For one, Don'T buy a 36" wide side-by-side from any manufacturer. What a mistake that was. I got two boxes which are too narrow to be beneficial for many common items. This goes duplicate for the freezer, which isn't wide enough to store a decent-sized roast. Things like Tv dinners have to be stored on end. A bag of meatballs occupies its own shelf. Adding an ice/water dispenser reduced the productive volume of the already too small freezer by at least 20%.
As for the Ge, it never maintains a constant temperature. The fridge is be too warm one day and too cold the next. Part of the hypothesize for that I believe is because the doors don't seal tightly. Even though it has an open-door sensor, it's very easy for a pan or a heavy bag to preclude the door from conclusion tightly and the alarm won't catch it. Next thing you know, you have a freezer full of frost, which takes the Ge forever to lose.
After just five years, the fridge suddenly stopped cooling today so now I'm debating either to write the Ge off as a bad investment rather than fix it, especially after reading about all the problem that others have had with the Profile.
The irony is that I moved the contents of my $1400 Profile to a 20 year-old, approved configuration, plain-jane Sanyo in the basement that cost me about $400 in 1992 and which has never needed a lick of maintenance. And despite the Profile being packed to the doors, the Sanyo is only half full with the same stuff. Sheesh.
